MAGIC-MIME-JUGGLING-STILT WALKING-IMPROVISATION
Ric is a professional variety performer for nearly 30 years, known to Renaissance enthusiasts as Ric Roc, entertaining audiences with physical comedy, magic, juggling, improvisation and stilt work.
One of his creations, Lupé, is a gibberish speaking masque buffoon who charms audiences with his antics. All ages and ethnicities find this original child-like character especially endearing.
Ric teaches mime and acting classes at Oakland University, as well as workshops for organizations and schools. He has performed his original shows at corporate functions, private parties, faires and Universities and was awarded Best Stage Act by his peers at the Michigan Renaissance Festival.

REVIEWS
Hi Dean,
Everything went very well. I think for such a small group Ric (Comedian/Magical/Entertainer) did a very good job and it was very entertaining for our Christmas party at Bucks Run Golf Club. I did manage to snap a couple photos. Thank you!

Ric performed for over 550 students and had them in the palm of his hand. As educators we know they are a tough crowd but Ric’s talent as a performer is unique, entertaining and educational.

…the single best live performance I have ever seen in my life.
Bill Boyle, Bloomfield Hills Schools
Your chair routine brought continuous laughter to everyone present, from 85 year old clients to my young daughters. It was a crowd pleaser and the hit of the show!
Joe Sabelhaus, Owner & Financial Consultant, Legacy Financial Services Group
If it’s unabashed imagination, creativity and improvisation, this is the talent you need to see.
T. Andrew Aston, Smohalla Studios
He is one of the most attentive and giving performers I’ve ever worked with.
Karen Sheridan, Professor of Theatre, Oakland University
Rick’s slapstick performances display a charming sense of wonder propelled by a reckless sense of the absurd.
m’Arch McCarty, Imagination Theatre
His energy, wit and improvisation on and off the stage are nothing short of excellent.
Sandi Page, Entertainment Director, Mayfaire Renaissance Festival
Rick is the type of person that many of us aspire to be not only in the world of theatre, but in life general. It is with him in mind that I often judge the level of talent and professionalism of current and prospective performers.
Maria Christian, Entertainment Director, Michigan Renaissance Festival
This, by far, was the best performance I have witnessed for many reasons. Aside from it being very funny, your method of reaching out to the audience, without speaking a word (at least none of a known dialect) was wonderful. No matter what language, gender or age of the audience, you got your messages across and had the audience eating out of your hand.
Jim Goetzinger, Security Director, Great Lakes Crossing
A presenter of this magnitude can only be extremely beneficial to any organization lucky enough to acquire his performance.
