Hey there! My name is Daniel McCall, and I am a professional DJ with Rusch Entertainment, primarily based out of Saginaw, Michigan. Becoming a DJ has been one of the most rewarding decisions of my life, and the journey has been a blast! From starting my career in 2019, I have put in endless time & effort into what I do. My start included events like SVSU parties, Tri City bar scene gigs, and tailgates, and this was where I started to learn my craft and the passion I had for it. Bringing a group of strangers together for an unforgettable night of fun is my favorite part about what I do – it truly proves that music can bring happiness to everyone, and that’s what I strive to provide!
Fast forward to now, three years later, and I have now evolved into playing larger events, as well as the smaller ones still, and loving every minute of it! Weddings, spring break events in different cities and states, and opening for legends like Steve Aoki and Afroman have been some of my favorite gigs to date (so far!), and I can’t wait to see what comes my way next! I’m known for bringing my fun, charismatic energy and showing it- even from behind the booth.

AMAZING Job by DJ Dan and the company!
I am so excited to write this review because this company deserves 5 star ratings, especially DJ Dan! Our wedding was half American/half Lebanese so we knew walking into it that it would be a big lift for any DJ. We had a set playlist of both Arabic as well as English songs and were looking for someone who could blend the two together seamlessly. We were also working with a traditional Lebanese folklore dance group for our entrance and dinner performance and hoped that our DJ would be able to play their music in a timely manner. DJ Dan was beyond amazing! All it took is one call with him and he was able to grasp our vibe as a couple and master the music on wedding day. Everything went so smoothly. He was extremely communicative and made sure we were happy with how the night was going. He was able to blend the Arabic and English songs perfectly well. Once our playlist songs ran out, he took it from there and boy did he deliver. It was banger after banger. All of our guests were bummed the night was ending and we got compliments on our DJ from everyone including our vendors. We are so incredibly grateful for DJ Dan and for Dean who matched us up perfectly based on our needs. Amazing company, amazing DJs, happy customers 🙂

He far exceeded our expectations and did an amazing job mixing the music for our wedding. He kept our guests of all ages and backgrounds entertained and on the dance floor. He picked up on the exact vibe we wanted for our wedding and went above and beyond to meet our needs. We received countless compliments on how amazing he was. Dan was definitely the man of the night! We had a blast. He took our playlist, and made our night extraordinary with his own mixes. No one wanted to leave the dance floor all night. We even had a bridesmaid do a karaoke version for our entrance, had the brides entrance PERFECT as she chose a very timed out entrance to a song. I’m sorry I missed your call yesterday, I wish I had the chance to talk to you to tell you what an AMAZING job Dan did! Everyone had a fantastic time, 600+ Folks, despite the last minute venue change and that the gym was too bright to get the full effect of the black lights (who knew that the high school had skylights)!! Our next glow dance will be when it gets dark earlier so no matter where we have it, the black lights will work.
Several High School students told me that the dance on Friday was “so much better” than their high school dances, so I’ll be sure to pass your information along to the prom and homecoming advisors.
I’m thinking next year we’ll have two dances, a traditional Daddy Daughter Dance and another Neon Nights Glow Dance. I’ll get you those dates ASAP.

DJ Dan was our DJ for our wedding on September 3, 2023 In Grand Rapids Michigan. We had an awesome experience. He used our music preferences and created a playlist that fit our preferences. We had a lot of Spanish music on our music requests and my family is Cuban. DJ Dan actually created a Cuban cocktail playlist for a cocktail hour which was a huge hit. Our dance floor was always full and We received several compliments regarding Our dance floor/music. Overall, he created a really fun, energetic environment for us to dance in. We would recommend him for any party!

We had our wedding on July 2nd at Solitude’s Golf Course. Our DJ we booked with another company fell through 10 days before our wedding and a friend highly recommended Rusch Entertainment. We immediately got booked with DJ Dan, who reached out and after talking to him, made us feel so confident that he was going to do an amazing job while listening to all our requests (which there were many). We had a beautiful American / Nigerian wedding and wanted not only the best pop, hip hop and rock wedding music but also mixed in with half afrobeats throughout the night. DJ Dan absolutely killed it! His playlist throughout the night, ability to read the dance floor and energy he brought kept everyone on the dance floor throughout the night. We had so many people tell us how awesome the DJ was and I 100% agree with them! With DJ Dan being so versatile and able to pull this off on such short notice, I would highly recommend him for any event! DJ Dan, the best to ever do it!

DJ Dan DJ’d our wedding on 6.16.2023. He did a magnificent job. I had a high expectation just because of the previous reviews, but boy were my expectations blown away. Dan was a very genuine person and super fun. If I was asked for a recommendation, I would be certain tell whoever asked to book him ASAP!
